Tómas Pétursson - Directing and Producing

The film is about a young man who meets a young woman and quickly falls in love. Years later, when they are married and have a child, he suddenly becomes obsessed with lamps.

What is the first film experience you remember that had an impact on you?

My first big movie experience was probably when I saw "Coraline". I was about 7 years old when I saw it for the first time and I remember that it had a huge impact on me, I was both incredibly excited and incredibly scared. You could say that "Coraline" kickstarted my anxiety.

What fascinates you about filmmaking?

What fascinates me about filmmaking is creating stories and characters, and also just the collaboration.

Did anything particularly surprise you during your studies?

I was surprised how difficult this can be. For some reason I had decided that this would be relatively easy, which is far from the truth.

And what does the future look like?

The future is bright, I think that the next step is the Oscars.
