The Film School updates and improves all computer and internal systems
The update will be an incredible improvement on all fronts and will be fully functional before next semester
The Icelandic Film School has entered into a general operation agreement with Endor. This includes everything related to the operation of internet and computer systems, a cloud solution that secures all our data and 48 new Mac mini M1 computers for students. Implementation of the cloud solution began last week and everything is expected to be installed and ready by mid-August. This agreement will completely change students' facilities regarding computer equipment and network security. Apple's new M1 processor will increase our processing speed at least 8 fold. It should also be noted that this is the first step for students to be able to process all their material in the cloud, in their own personalized area.
