No matter what, I love you
A musical about a young woman who accidentally kills her husband just after making the decision to leave him, and about the difficulties that follow when her little niece unexpectedly visits.

What is the first movie experience you remember?
The first that comes to mind is when I went to see "Ratatouille" at the movies when I was five years old after constantly bugging my parents about it... only to fall asleep five minutes after it started.
What fascinates you about filmmaking?
The collaboration. Love how many different departments have to work well together to make a great movie.

Why did you choose your department?
I have long loved writing and there was something fascinating about the script format that called to me. Decided to take a little risk, left UI, applied here and haven't looked back.
Did anything particularly surprise you during your studies?
Directing, I went to this school to write but wasn't expecting to fall for directing the way I did. The same can be said about being an assistant director, never would have guessed that I would love it as much as I do.

And what does the future look like?
Full of opportunities, excited to try to get a foot into Icelandic filmmaking and getting to spend some time on sets this summer.
