Nikulás Árni will be graduating from Directing and Producing with his film "Tribulation"
Tribulation
The film follows Simon, a low life drug dealer trying to get by until one fateful night, he gets his supply of drugs stolen and his most prized possession… his bike. Determined to get it back, Simon does anything in his power to retrieve it.
What is the first movie experience you remember?
I remember seeing the first "Spider Man" movie when I was about four years old with my dad. After the movie I tried to climb the walls, but unfortunately I found out that most movies are not reality.
What fascinates you about filmmaking?
It's the unity of the creation on the set, and that everyone is helping each other to create the film. As they say; "No man is an island" or something like that.
Why did you choose your department?
I have always enjoyed making short films, and have always been experimenting with special effects and ideas. I chose my department to gain a wider perspective and improve my directing skills and communication with actors.
Did anything particularly surprise you during your studies?
How fast 2 years go by.

I have no idea, but will let you know in the future.
