Hörður Bersi Böðvarsson - Acting
Hörður Bersi will be graduating from Acting with his film "Those who row, catch fish"
Those who row, catch fish
The film is about a man who has a crush on his roommate but doesn't dare ask her out on a date. He is on his last chance as she is moving out.
What is the first film experience you remember that had an impact on you?
My first movie experience was when I went to see Star Wars at the movies with my family. My mom covered my eyes as Anakin was burning and I said I had already seen it, because it was the second time my brother and I had gone to a screening. I have been a Star Wars fan ever since.
What fascinates you about filmmaking?
What fascinates me about filmmaking is the process and the collaboration. From the beginning of the film as an idea on a piece of paper to the final completion and everything in between.
Why did you choose Acting?
I chose acting because I have always enjoyed entertaining people and being someone other than myself.
Did anything particularly surprise you during your studies?
The thing that surprised me the most during the courses is the level of work you can produce when you go out of your comfort zone.
