What is your first memory related to films?
When I saw the Disney cartoon "The Jungle Book" in theater 2 in the Bíóhöllin, now called Sambíóin Álfabakki. I remember that I thought the screen was so big
What fascinates you about film making?
It's not just one thing. It's teamwork that I love and the classic thing; telling a story in graphic language. It's just that basic
Why did you choose Directing and Producing?
Production is about making things happen and being involved from the beginning of the project to the end. It's kind of like a bandleader. You control everything, but you do not have to know all the instruments. It's something I truly like
Anything that surprised you?
No, nothing in particular but I had pretty much lost my "mojo" for filmmaking but by going back to school (old student), it came back
And what does the future look like?
Really good. I'm going to finish a documentary project that I've been working on for the last few years and just go to the movies as often as I possibly can
