Today 9 students graduated from The Film School in an awaited ceremony

Hlín Jóhannesdóttir, the rector of The Film School, gave a speech where she emphasized how talented and persistent the graduates were, now joining the group of filmmakers on this winter day, and prizes were awarded for the best film in each department. In Creative Technology, Aron Elvar Ögmundsson Stephensen received an award for his film "Jón spæjó", in Acting it was Ásthildur Ómarsdóttir's film, "The unseen truth", that was awarded, and in the departments of Directing and Producing and Screenwriting and Directing it was Naila Zahin Anas film, "Aflausn", which was awarded, and she also received Bjarkinn, an award given for the best picture of the graduation.
