A man finally meets a foreign woman with whom he has had a long-distance relationship through the Internet, but different expectations and different life experiences overshadow their readiness to be a couple.

-What is the first movie experience you remember?
I remember having seen the third "Lord of the Rings" movie in the cinema, but the only scene that stuck with me after that experience was the spider.

-What fascinates you about filmmaking?
What an incredibly diverse job it is, it has been very interesting to follow a whole project from its birth until it is fully completed. Write a script, direct it and then edit the material. It's also nice to be on sets because no two days are the same.
-Why did you choose Screenwriting and Directing?
It was kind of a light bulb moment when I discovered that there were people who write movies and TV shows, so being able to go to a program that focuses on that was a dream come true. Directing wasn't a particular area of interest when I started, but after making a few short films I think differently when it comes to writing, I look at projects more holistically and graphically and incorporate that into the scripts I'm working on.

-Did anything particularly surprise you in the study?
Yes, it has been an emotional roller coaster ride. I've met a lot of wonderful like-minded people. It's been a long journey over the past two years, but I've learned a lot, especially from my fellow students. My time at school and on sets made me realize that this is something I want to do in the future.
-And what does the future look like?
I hope to get in on a set this summer, start working in the industry. And I'm going to continue developing ideas and writing.
