The film is a comedy about a lonely man who finds unexpected love with a watermelon and chases the approval of his family.
What is the first movie experience you remember?
The first movie experience I remember is the "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy. My siblings and I watched the extended versions together very often and we still do to this day.
What fascinates you about filmmaking?
What fascinates me the most is creating, shooting fun footage and seeing everything click together in post-production.
Why did you choose your department?
I have always enjoyed filming and enjoyed editing videos even more. So I thought "why not learn to do it properly?".
Did anything particularly surprise you in your studies?
How difficult, disorganized and constantly surprising this can be. I have quite a few more gray hairs on my head than when I started.
And what does the future look like?
It looks expensive.
