Anna Helga Guðmundsdóttir - Acting
Anna Helga will graduate from Acting on the 27th of May with her film "Before I Die".
The film is about a woman with cancer who has to come to terms with death and make her dreams come true before she dies
-What is the first movie experience you remember?
The first movie I remember seeing in the cinema was the musical "Annie" which came out in 1982 when I was 6 years old. I may not remember very much about the movie itself, but I clearly remember the experience of going to the cinema for the first time.
-What fascinates you about filmmaking?
What fascinates me the most about filmmaking is seeing how you can take one small idea and make a whole movie out of it.
-Why did you choose Acting?
I chose Acting because I have always really enjoyed acting and had previously acted in several plays with amateur theater companies and attended acting courses.
-Did anything particularly surprise you in the study?
I don't know if I can say that there was anything in particular that surprised me during the studies, it's just maybe this camaraderie and empathy that developed between our classmates, and I will miss them a lot when the school year ends.
-And what does the future look like?
The future is a big blank page and I haven't decided anything about the future, but I'm open to almost anything.
