What is the first movie experience you remember?
I watched a lot of movies when I was a child, but the first memory I remember clearly is when I was 11 years old. It was Christmas Day and my mom and I were coming home from my grandparents and we were watching “Die Hard” together. It had been a long time since my mom last saw it and she had actually forgotten how disgusting the movie was, so she started to cover my eyes in some scenes, but I thought the movie was amazing.
What fascinates you about filmmaking?
I really just love everything about filmmaking. From the time you get an idea, execute it and then see it in the cinema. What fascinates me the most is being on set with good people and seeing everyone working towards the same goal.

Why did you choose your department?
When I was applying, I was torn between whether to choose directing and screenwriting or producing because I'm really interested in everything related to filmmaking. In the end I chose screenwriting because in the future I want to direct my own ideas that matter to me.
Did anything particularly surprise you in your studies?
I really didn't know what to expect, but what surprised me the most was how much interest the teachers who were teaching us showed in our projects. Many teachers were with us late at night going over clips and ideas.

And what does the future look like?
I am very excited about the possibilities after graduation. I plan to apply for work on sets and start working on my own projects.
